    1. Find out the development needs. Boil it into the most notable three development needs, or perhaps in plain english, “what are you currently looking to get from a program?” Typical email address particulars are “learn how to be a little more strategic”, “leading change”, or some combination of functional knowledge (finance, sales, and marketing). There may be is really a timeframe that’s better or worse than these (i.e., next Six months, stay away from the summer, etc…)

    2. Search your selected executive education providers.

    3. Once you discover a couple potential programs, get a good fit. Look at the recommended participant level, participant mix, industry mix, and company participation.

    4. Read the instructors, browse the bios. Review the daily agenda, topics, and activities. Again, you’re looking for a fantastic fit to the participant and his/her development needs. Talk with the provider’s Exec Ed Director, or somebody who may help you find out more on the programs.

Ask other’s if they have knowledge about this system.

    5. Talk with past participants if possible, or someone accountable for leadership/executive development development.

    6. Geography is often an aspect. Trying to find a global experience? Than look for a good combination of global participants, or even better, attend a program beyond your U.S.

    7. Period of program: Programs range from 2-3 days to 6 weeks. I honestly have no idea how someone meet the expense of to venture to a 6 week program today, unless they are with a sabbatical or their firm is just hoping to get reduce them for some time.

    8. Read the amenities’. Okay, I understand, this is a chance to learn rather than a secondary, but top notch food, accommodations, and surroundings all are the main total experience. Also determine if the area and foods are in the program.

    9. Factors that will not part of a conclusion: alumni relationships, timing coinciding using the NCAA playoffs, and catchy program titles.

    10. All things considered on this, narrow it as a result of 2-3 program, then select based on best fit, timing, and charges.
